Indian stock markets were trading on a higher note during the morning trading
session with metal and select financial shares leading the gains. Among

the Middle East is continuing to rise is likely to influence sentiments.
BSE SENSEX was at 25611.85, up by 174.88 points or by 0.69
per cent and then NSE Nifty was at 7824.8, up by 18.9 points or by 0.24
per cent. The BSE MIDCAP was at 11245.76, up by 81.36 points or by 0.73 per cent
while the BSE SMLCAP was at 11142.39, up by 78.53 points or by 0.71 per
cent.
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 240.00,+2.72 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 414.70,+1.82 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 363.65,+1.62 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 1109.45,+1.53 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 1265.05,+1.36 per cent), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 793.20,-2.25 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (Rs. 287.30,-0.48 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2517.05,-0.32 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. (Rs. 3010.25,-0.06 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (Rs. 547.95,-0.05 per cent), among others.
